Synopsis
It sounds just as ambitious, taking a deep dive into the not-so-distant future in which humankind is learning to adapt to its synthetic surroundings. This evolution moves humans beyond their natural state and into a metamorphosis, which alters their biological makeup. While some embrace the limitless potential of trans-humanism, others attempt to police it. Either way, Accelerated Evolution Syndrome, is spreading fast. Saul Tenser is a beloved performance artist who has embraced this new state, sprouting new and unexpected organs in his body. Along with his partner Caprice, Tenser has turned the removal of these organs into a spectacle for his loyal followers to marvel at in real time theater. But with both the government and a strange subculture taking note, Tenser is forced to consider what would be his most shocking performance of all.

Its a Cronenberg movie allright.. But not a very good one.
Kristen Stewart is such a blah actor in everything she's in
Watched this because Mortensen is a good actor, but the film is basically not very good.
Apparently people here have never seen a Cronenberg movie before. While not his best by a long shot it's still deliciously weird and the body horror is on point. 7/10.
Movie is weird! And there maybe people who like weird! So, others avoid. It will bore you to hell!
Dearh to conservatives.
It's weird and thought-provoking, especially around ethics and body modification. It's a bit of an "art film" though, so, no, not for everyone.
Some dialogue from this film: "We've got to start feeding on our own industrial waste. It's our destiny. The end result is you can't eat food. We eat modern food. We eat plastic. Eat a plastic wastepaper basket and enjoy it. Eat nothing but plastic and weird synthetic stuff." Bill Gates is already developing this, and thank David CronenBERG & his fellow tribesmen from The Harold GREENberg fund for this lovely advertisement.
There is a scene which there is a Naked Dead Body. It's really not for everybody. They don't evn try to hide the private parts. But I believe this is a very interesting scientific stuff movie.
@dixoncider. Im sorry but when was the last time you gave up your time to give people films for free?
dixonsider jys n poes
Why does Freekman upload so much [email protected]?
the film was so dull ... no thanks
shes a tad wooden but this is what she was playing in this role. of course this was rubbish, utter s^it
Didn't even notice Kristen Stewart's "performance".
kristen stewart is so wooden, not worth watching
is this a good movie
A future where peoples' bodies are mutating and organ removal has become a fetish under the pretense of "art". It all feels like an excuse to combine autopsy, nudity, and a flimsy detective story in a tired and crumbling world. All the characters slavering over trans-humanist vivisection as a new seksual fetish--- maybe I'm just not jooish enough to be titillated by such an idea, but I'm sure it has its audience...
THANK YOU!
Thank you!
Watching this for Viggo.
Ugh. It's a visually stunning nonsense.
@Gojira54 Thanks for an actual comment on the movie instead of "ermaGHARD i hAtE kRiStEn sTeWaRt"
Ugh, that Christen Stewart ruined the movie for me.. haaaaate her.
